No Letup In Union Opposition To Obamacare

Unions continue to bristle at provisions of the Affordable Care Act they say will end up costing union members more money for healthcare. A letter to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) from the presidents of two major unions was harsh in its criticism of new rules that were written by the Administration purportedly to address previously voiced labor concerns. “They were not listening or they simply did not care,” read the letter from Terry O’Sullivan, president of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA), and D. Taylor, president of Unite Here.
