Leonard Baynes Named Dean of Houston Law Center

The University of Houston has named Leonard Baynes as the next dean of its Law Center. Baynes is a professor who now leads the Ronald H. Brown Center for Civil Rights and Economic Development at St. John’s University School of Law. Baynes will begin the job Aug. 15. Prior to joining the staff at St. John’s, Baynes taught at Western New England University School of Law in Massachusetts.
