Lawyer Falls To #51 On List Of Top Jobs

Though job prospects for lawyers are improving, the profession fell to 51 on U.S. News and World Report’s survey of top jobs. Both flexibility and upward mobility for lawyers were considered below average, according to the survey, while the job’s stress level was categorized as “high.” Substance-abuse counselor, maintenance worker, middle and high school teacher, and manicurist all ranked as more desirable jobs than lawyer in the 2014 survey.
