Law Firms Could Be “Soft Underbelly” of Company Cyber-Security

Legal departments get a warning from a general counsel and security expert from the tech company Unisys. Pavel Klimov, the London-based GC for part of the U.S.-based company, exhorts legal departments world-wide to lead the way in raising security issues at the executive level. He advocates “layered” security as opposed to security-at-the-gate, which has proven to be a losing game, and he explains why a company’s own outside law firms can unintentionally present one of ts most dangerous cyber-security risks.
