Law Firms Among Best Places For LGBT Employees

More law firms achieved a perfect score in a Human Rights Campaign “Corporate Equality Index” survey than in any other industry, including banking and finance, and retail and consumer products. Of more than 145 law firms that participated in the survey, 81 received a perfect 100on the index, which measures equal employment opportunity policies, equal employment benefits, demonstrated organizational LGBT competency, public evidence of commitment to equality, and exercise of responsible citizenship.
