Laurent Potdevin To Lululemon As CEO, Controversial Founder Demoted

Laurent Potdevin, most recently the president of Toms shoe company, will replace Christine Day as CEO of Lululemon yoga apparel company in January 2014. The changes at the top also include relieving founder Chip Wilson from his chairmanship, though he will remain on the board. Just a month ago Wilson came under fire when he said Lululemon’s yoga pants “don’t work” for all women’s bodies, one of a string of controversial statements he’s made over many years.
