Kevin E. Cadwell To Akin Gump As Partner In IP Practice

Kevin E. Cadwell has joined Akin Gump as a partner in its intellectual property (IP) practice in Houston. Cadwell, who handles complex commercial litigation matters with a focus on intellectual property litigation, comes to Akin Gump from Reed Smith, where he was a partner. Cadwell’s IP litigation work is primarily focused on patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and trade dress litigation. Before joining Reed Smith in 2015, Mr. Cadwell had spent a dozen years at another large international law firm, including six years in Palo Alto, California.
