Katherine Brennan To GC At Guy Carpenter As Melvin Schwarz Retires

Global professional services firm Marsh & McLennan Companies announced that Katherine Brennan will assume the role of general counsel for reinsurance subsidiary Guy Carpenter after Melvin Schwarz retires, effective Jan. 1. Schwarz joined Marsh & McLennan in 2005, and before that worked in civil enforcement with the antitrust division of the Department of Justice. Brennan has been with the firm since 2008 and currently serves as senior counsel for corporate and securities matters.
