Kardashians Sued Over Kardashian Video Game

Video game development company Kung Fu Factory has filed a $10 million lawsuit against the Kardashian family, claiming they prepared an original proposal for a game that was subsequently released as Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, but were not paid for their work. Kung Fu Factory says they conceived of how the game would integrate with social media platforms; designed the overall look, including how the Kardashian sisters would be portrayed as characters; and designed the user interface. However, after being “strung along for months,” the company claims they were led to believe the deal was dead, until competitor Glu Mobile released Hollywood, which looked “strikingly similar” to the Kung Fu concept.
