Kardashians Fan Apps’ Security Flawed

Members of the Kardashian and Jenner families have released new websites and apps in recent days, but one developer found a security flaw that allowed access to the full names and email addresses of more than half a million subscribers. Nineteen-year-old developer Alaxic Smith said he was able to access more than 600,000 users who signed up for Kylie Jenner’s website, and he would have easily been capable of creating and destroying user photos, videos and more. According to TechDirt, payment information was handled by a third-party e-commerce provider, so financial records are still secure.
