A federal judge declined to grant a motion for summary judgment, reviving a dispute between Johnson & Johnson and Boston Scientific that goes back to 2004. An article in the New York Times’ Dealbook traces the convoluted history of a case that it estimates could end up costing Boston Scientific, at the high end, as much as $6 billion, about a third of its market value.
