James Woolery Named Chairman Of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft

Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft announced that its partners had elected James C. Woolery as their new chairman. Another partner, Patrick Quinn, was voted managing partner. Both appointments will be effective next year. Woolery joined the firm less than a year ago from JPMorgan Chasewhere he was a co-head of the investment bank’s North American mergers practice. Before joining JPMorgan in 2011, he had spent 17 years at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he was a partner.
