Jailed, Freed, Former GC Sues Gunmaker Glock

The saga of gun mogul Gaston Glock and his former allies turned enemies has taken another turn. His former general counsel and COO, Paul Jannuzzo – who served more than three years in prison as the result of what he claims was an effort orchestrated by Glock – is suing him and others whom Jannuzzo maintains were part of the project. Jannuzzo claims the root of the conflict goes back more than 10 years, to when Glock took an interest in the woman who would later become Jannuzzo’s wife. Writing in the Daily Beast, Brandy Zadrozny covers the story and some of its various spinoffs and precursors, including allegations of corporate theft and county prosecutorial corruption in Georgia, where Jannuzzo filed his lawsuit. Gaston Glock was also sued last year by his ex-wife, who claimed he siphoned millions from her and their children, in what is said to be was one of the largest civil suits ever to be filed under RICO.
