Jail Time For Celebrity Nudes Hacker

Ryan Collins, a 36-year-old man who hacked more than 600 celebrities and leaked nude photos online, has been sentenced to 18 months in federal prison. In March, Collins was charged with felony computer hacking and agreed to a plea deal. He admitted to getting the photos, and other private information, through an email phishing scheme, though investigators never found any evidence that he shared or uploaded the images. The victims were identified only as “female celebrities” in news releases.
