Demands in this area have intensified dramatically in recent years, and they will continue on that trajectory as cloud computing and virtualization become routine and technical advances such as gesture interfaces, holographic displays and fault-free computing become the norm. Law firms are well advised, the writer says, to establish and maintain a sound Records and Information Governance program, separate from IT.
