Illinois Gov. Selects Barnes and Thornburg Partner As Administration GC

Illinois Gov.-elect Bruce Rauner has named Jason Barclay, an attorney for Indiana’s former governor and partner at Barnes and Thornburg in Indianapolis, to serve as general counsel for his administration. Rauner also named Kathy Lydon, a former longtime aide to U.S. Rep. Judy Biggert, to serve as director for the administration. Lydon will be based in Washington D.C.
