If Old Was Gold, SCOTUS Would Be One-Percenters

Now that a Presidential election looms, the game of which Supreme Court Justice will be the next to die or retire is on in Washington, and the Washington Post reports that the Court as presently constituted is among the oldest on record. Three Justices – Ginsburg, Scalia and Kennedy – are over the average retirement age of 78.7. But, the article observes, people live longer than they used to, so maybe they’ll all hang in there until a new President is inaugurated.
