IBM Lawyer Neil Abrams Joins GTech SpA As GC

Casino equipment and lottery services supplier GTech SpA says Neil Abrams is joining the company to lead its legal team. Abrams has more than 30 years of experience with U.S.-based digital technology company International Business Machines Corp (IBM). He has been appointed GTech’s senior vice president and general counsel. Abrams served as IBM’s vice president and assistant general counsel, client experience. In that role he was responsible for reorganising and simplifying the way the firm did business with its clients. Previously, he was the chief legal officer for IBM’s software business.
