More than one in five whistleblower complaints to the SEC eventuates in a retaliation complaint, reports FindLaw writer Casey Sullivan, and he provides five tips for avoiding them. One is to keep a clear and complete record of all employment decisions, including warnings, reprimands or firings. All make sense for any company that wants to avoid what the writer calls “the salt in the wound” of an SEC investigation.
