Hollywood Exec Linked To Leaked Movies

December 23, 2015

An advanced copy of Quentin Tarantino’s “The Hateful Eight” that was leaked this week has been identified as that sent to Alcon Entertainment co-CEO Andrew Kosove. The Hollywood Reporter found that the version sent to Kosove was signed for by an office assistant, and then appeared online on several file-sharing sites. Between 200,000 and 600,000 downloads of the film were recorded the first day it was available. “I’ve never seen this DVD,” Kosove told THR. “It’s never touched my hands. The advanced copy of Quentin Tarantino’s new movie sent to a Hollywood executive was identified as the one used to illegally distribute the film online this week, before its theatrical release.
