Hacker Group Pleads Guilty To PayPal Attack

Members of a high-profile hacker group have pled guilty to a cyber attack brought against PayPal in 2010. The group known as Anonymous took responsibility for the Distributed Denial of Service attack, which flooded PayPal with useless commands and information, denying service to users. Thirteen of its members were charged in the Northern District of California and released on bail. Sentencing hearings will be held in San Jose, Calif. in Dec. 2014.
