Growing Number Of Female GCs In Hard Hat Industries

Though the number of women general counsel at Fortune 500 companies is down this year, there are more female top lawyers in historically male-dominated industries, according to a survey by the Minority Corporate Counsel Association. The prevalence of female GCs in ‘hard hat’ professions – nearly outnumbering the number of female top lawyers in retail and food industries combined – is a positive sign for diversity going forward.
