Google Seeks To Prevent Google Glass Driving Restrictions

Google has lobbied elected officials in Illinois, Delaware and Missouri to head off efforts to regulate wearable technology – like Google’s Glass computer headset – while driving. Though Google Glass is not yet even commercially available, it has already earned one woman a court date when she was pulled over for speeding while sporting the tech. The case was dismissed because no evidence existed that the device was in operation while she was driving. Several other states are considering, or have already introduced, similar legislation.
