Giuliani Departs Firm, Now Just “Bracewell”

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is leaving Texas-based Bracewell & Giuliani to join Greenberg Traurig LLP. His old firm, where he started the New York office, says the departure is amicable, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal. Giuliani, who also heads security consulting firm Giuliani Partners LLC, says Greenberg Traurig is better suited to his work in cybersecurity. Neither Giuliani nor his new firm, which has more than four times the number of lawyers as newly renamed “Bracewell,” would comment on whether he’ll be getting a raise.
