GCs Finding Savings, Value In Small Law Firms

When it comes to outside legal work, general counsel have begun putting value over pedigree, bypassing high-profile firms for smaller outfits and saving up to 60 percent on costs, according to an AdvanceLaw study of 88 major companies. With the increasing dispersion of top-tier talent outside of pedigreed firms, a large proportion of the responding GCs said small firm attorneys were more responsive than their white shoe counterparts.
