Frontier Communications Names Mark Nielsen GC

Frontier Communications has appointed Mark Nielsen as general counsel and secretary. Nielsen joins Frontier Communications from industrial gas company Praxair, where he served as associate general counsel and chief compliance officer. Prior to Praxair, he was assistant general counsel of defense contractor Raytheon from 2007 to 2009. Before that, Nielsen served as chief legal counsel, and then Chief of Staff, to Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney from 2004 to 2007.
