Fourth Circuit Judge Named GC For Santee Cooper

The South Carolina power producer Santee Cooper has named Fourth Circuit Judge J. Michael Baxley as senior vice president and general counsel, effective July 1. Baxley will replace James E. Brogdon, who retires June 30. Baxley was elected resident judge in the Fourth Circuit in 2000. Prior to becoming a judge, Baxley was managing partner of Driggers & Baxley law firm in Hartsville.
