Former Olswang CEO David Stewart Leaving Firm

Olswang’s former CEO David Stewart, who stepped down from his role at the start of October mid-way through his second three-year term, has left the firm. IP partner and European patent litigation team head Michael Burdon has taken over on an interim basis until the election process completes. Stewart was elected as Olswang’s managing partner in 2007 and became CEO in 2010. He was re-elected last year for another three-year term. No details on the reasons for his departure were known.
