Former Hulu Chief Andy Forssell Named CEO Of Showyou

Andy Forssell, former acting CEO of Hulu, has been named chief executive of Showyou, a startup whose service aggregates Web video into personalized channels. Forssell had been Hulu’s senior VP of content since 2007, assuming the role of acting CEO of the joint venture — owned by 21st Century Fox, Disney and NBCUniversal — after former chief Jason Kilar left the company in the spring of 2013. Kilar went on to found digital-video startup Vessel. Hulu appointed former Fox Networks distribution chief Mike Hopkins as CEO in October 2013.
