Firm Partner Guilty Of Forging Law License

A woman who worked as an estate planning attorney for more than 30 clients, made partner at her firm and served as president of her county bar association has been found guilty of concocting her credentials. Kimberly Kitchen of James Creek, Pa., forged a law license, bar exam results, and an email claiming she attended Duquesne University law school. Her since-deleted bio on the BMZ law site claimed she graduated summa cum laude. Kitchen’s attorney says she will appeal with the contention that her deceit did not harm anyone. “She provided a service that apparently everyone was satisfied with for at least a decade,” Caroline Roberto, Kitchen’s attorney, said. “Nobody ever challenged her credentials.”
