Federal Attorney Antonio M. Apps To Join Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy

Antonia M. Apps is leaving the United States attorney’s office in Manhattan to take a job with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in big New York law firm. Apps will officially join Milbank on Sept. 22 after nearly seven and a half years working as an assistant United States attorney in the Southern District of New York and prosecuting some of the office’s biggest insider trading cases. This is Apps’ second stint as an attorney in private practice. Before becoming a federal prosecutor in 2007 — a year after she became an American citizen — she was a partner for six years in Washington, D.C., at Kellogg, Huber, Hansen, Todd, Evans & Figel.
