Fearing Hackers, Celebrity Divorce Lawyer Joins BigLaw

Citing intense fear of being hacked and exposing sensitive information to the world, Los Angeles divorce attorney Stacy Phillips said her boutique firm would join Philadelphia-based Blank Rome. “Our emails are full of personal information,” Phillips said. “I wanted to concentrate on things I do best, like develop business.” Phillips has built a reputation for representing Hollywood and corporate elites for sensitive divorce and custody cases. The addition of Phillips and the three lawyers from her boutique firm bring Blank Rome’s roster of family-practice attorneys to 30.
