Fathom Events Hires John Rubey as CEO

Fathom Events, along with its owners, AMC Entertainment Inc., Cinemark Holdings Inc. and Regal Entertainment Group, has appointed John Rubey as CEO, effective April 7, 2014. Rubey is the company’s first CEO after the recent restructuring established the company independently from National CineMedia. Rubey has been President of AEG-TV and AEG Network LIVE since 2000. Prior to AEG Network LIVE, Rubey founded and owned Spring Communications, and held the position of COO of PACE Management.
