Enrico Cavatorta Resigns As CEO Of Luxottica Group

Enrico Cavatorta has resigned as CEO of Luxottica Group, the world’s largest eyewear maker, indicating that managerial instability that began in September is still unresolved. Cavatorta, previously CFO at Milan-based Luxottica, resigned over disagreements with company founder Leonardo Del Vecchio, as the two had conflicting views over the scope of Mr. Cavatorta’s powers, the Wall Street Journal reports.
