With more than 20 states instituting so-called “bring your gun to work” laws – and several more considering it – employers are finding it difficult to balance the law with concerns for workplace safety. A number of factors must be considered in crafting workplace conceal-carry policies, including whether the business space is leased or owned, the presence of on-site childcare facilities, and specifics in individual state laws.
