DreamWorks Studios Names Michael Wright CEO

Michael Wright, President and Head of Programming for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies, has been named CEO of DreamWorks Studios effective January 3, 2015, Steven Spielberg announced. Wright will replace Stacey Snider, who will depart the company at the beginning of January 2015. Wright, whose tenure has spanned more than a decade at Turner, has been responsible for developing and premiering critically and commercially acclaimed original content on all three of the company’s networks as well as its digital extensions.
