DOJ Criminal Lawyer Mythili Raman Joins Covington & Burling

Mythili Raman, the DOJ’s former Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division, has joined Covington & Burling as a partner, the firm said Tuesday. Raman joined the DOJ in 1996 and served in the Criminal Division and in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Maryland. In 2006, she moved to Main Justice as Senior Counsel to the Deputy Attorney General. She served as Acting Assistant Attorney General of the Criminal Division from 2013 to 2014, and left the DOJ in late March.
