Deflategate: Patriots Lack Culture Of Compliance

A recently-released NFL report revealed that, most likely, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady knew that employees of the team were being bribed to lower the inflation level of game balls, thus making them easier to grip. The “deflator,” Jim McNally, received autographs and expensive sporting goods in return for adjusting the inflation of the balls to Brady’s liking. If the Patriots had a better anti-bribery and anti-corruption program in place, the problem would never have arisen, argues Lauren Connell from the Volkov Law group.
