Damien Atkins To GC At Panasonic Corporation of North America

Panasonic Corporation of North America announced Tuesday that it has appointed Damien Atkins general counsel and corporate secretary of the Newark-based product manufacturer. Atkins succeeds Robert S. Marin, who is retiring after being with the company for almost 40 years. Twenty-three of those years were spent serving as the company’s chief legal advisor. Prior to Panasonic, Atkins served as AOL. Inc.’s senior vice president, deputy general counsel and chief compliance officer. He earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and graduated from New York University School of Law.
