Cruz For Supreme Court?

Should Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) fail to secure the Republican presidential nomination, he should be considered to replace the late Justice Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court, said House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.). “[I]f he’s not our nominee, I think he would be a great replacement for Scalia,” Scalise said during an interview on the Fox Business Network. Cruz, former Texas solicitor general who clerked at the Supreme Court, insisted that he was not interested in that position. The top court in the land is “not a job I’m interested in,” Cruz told CBS News.
