Court Cop Undercover Spy For The Prosecution?

A court security officer in Augusta, Maine allegedly took pictures of a defense lawyer’s notes and emailed it to the prosecutor. The officer has been placed on paid leave. The photo is said to show the phone number of a private investigator, among other defense notes. Carl Langston was charged with criminal mischief for chipping paint off a concrete bench while in an inmate holding area, and the security officer was involved in the charge. The photo “was not actually anything helpful to the prosecution,” District Attorney Maeghan Maloney said.
