Cosby Sues Accuser’s Lawyers

Bill Cosby has filed a lawsuit against the two lawyers representing a woman who has accused the comedian of drugging and sexually assaulting her. The suit was filed the night before a critical hearing in Andrea Constand’s case against Cosby, which resulted in a judge saying the suit could proceed. “The suit, which was filed in the United States District Court in Pennsylvania and initially placed under seal, underscores how aggressive and multifaceted Mr. Cosby’s legal strategy has become in combating the numerous civil cases and the criminal case against him,” the New York Times reports. Anne Pulin, a law professor at Villanova University, told the Times: “Obviously they’re trying to fight on as many fronts as they can.”
