Cop Who Sprayed ‘Occupy’ Protesters Gets $38K In Workers’ Comp

A former campus cop featured pepper-spraying student protesters in a viral internet video will receive $38,056 in worker’s compensation – about $8,000 more than those he sprayed. John Pike claimed he suffered depression and anxiety when he was threatened, after the video – in which he pepper-sprays unresisting University of California Davis students at an Occupy Wall Street rally in 2011 – became international news.
