Concerned Liberals Want Details On Ginsburg’s Well-Being

As liberals familiarize themselves with Judge Neil Gorsuch – President Donald Trump’s nominee to fill the vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court – they also face the potential for the new administration to name one or more additional justices in future years. That has led to an outpouring of concern for 83-year-old liberal stalwart on the Court, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, reports the Washington Post. “Eat more kale, that’s all I can say,” said Kim Landsbergen, a forest ecologist in Ohio. “We love you. Eat more kale.” John Hagner, a consultant for Democratic campaigns who lives in Washington, told the Post, “I could organize the gays, and we would just make a protective circle around her at all times.” Ginsburg has already survived both colon and pancreatic cancer, missing a mere two weeks of work after surgery for the latter. Other liberals fumed that Ginsburg and her fellow left-leaning Justice Stephen Breyer did not retire during the Obama administration. “Looking back, it was seriously dumb (and, frankly, selfish) of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer not to retire from #SCOTUS in 2013,” one person wrote on Twitter.
