Both candidates have firsthand experience at the hands of hackers, according to this post from Kelly Jackson Higgins. For Trump, it hasn’t been a campaign issue but has been something of headache. There were breaches in his hotel credit card systems, and flaws in his campaign website left intern resumes exposed. Both candidates have laid out positions on cybersecurity, summarized here, but neither is gone into much detail. “If they get religion on this topic, they could be poster children,” says one cybersecurity expert.
