China Resources Chairman Song Lin Fired

Song Lin, chairman of China Resources, was fired Sunday for “suspected serious violations of discipline and law violations,” China’s Xinhua news agency said. Song served as chairman and party boss of China Resources Holdings, the parent group of five Hong Kong-listed companies, and after being fired will be replaced by general manager Qiao Shibo. China’s Central Commission for Discipline Inspection announced that Song was under investigation for “suspected serious violations of discipline and law.”
