A leading theory of how hackers were able to steal naked photos of female celebrities is that the pictures were stored on devices synced to the cloud, where they were unsecured. That sounds similar to the way many lawyers are storing important client data, says Jeff Bennion with Above The Law. The potential consequences of exposing client data are many, but Bennion provides some free, relatively simple steps lawyers can take to protect it.
