Canadian Toyota Workers Set To Hold Union Vote

Toyota workers at three plants in Canada will vote next week on whether to unionize.. Workers at the plants are being organized by Unifor, Canada’s biggest private-sector union. If its drive is successful, these would be the first Toyota plants in North American to be unionized. Many are watching the vote closely, as it takes place after the controversial vote at VW’s Chattanooga, Tenn. plant earlier this year, when the union was rejected.
