Brian P. Brooks Joining Fannie Mae As GC

Former OneWest Bank vice chairman Brian P. Brooks is joining Fannie Mae as EVP, general counsel, and corporate secretary. Brooks served as chief legal officer for OneWest. Prior to his tenure at OneWest, Brooks was a managing partner at O’Melveny & Myers, a global law firm, where he led an office of more than 150 attorneys and played a role in creating the banking industry’s response to the recent foreclosure crisis.
