BLP Hires Nine For International Arbitration Practice In Hong Kong

Berwin Leighton Paisner has hired a nine-lawyer team in Hong Kong to set up its international arbitration practice in the region. Name partner from a leading construction litigation and arbitration firm, Haley & Co., Glenn Haley, will move to BLP, along with Ilan Freiman and Geoff Shaw, while four associates, Patrick Daley, Mike Docherty, Sheona Campbell and Kenny Tam, plus one locum, one trainee and one paralegal, as well as up to five business services staff, will also form part of the move. Frieman and Shaw will head up the non-contentious property side of the practice.
